For over 50 years, generations of Nina’s family sat at her grandparents’ dining room table in good times and bad. Ask my siblings and cousins, we fondly remember Sundays at Grandma and Grandpa’s house - from building blanket forts under the table as small children to joining the adults for coffee and Entenmann’s. Now that table is in my parents’ kitchen, and everyone is welcome.

Our family’s love language was a seat at that table. A cup of coffee and a snack. The ear of someone who cared.
